Johanna Konta will not play with any tournaments in Asia this fall and so will not be able to qualify for the season-ending WTA Championships.
The British number one has pulled from the China Open in Beijing due to”slight knee pain” and did not enter the next week’s profitable tournament in Wuhan in China.
She is following expected to perform in Moscow.
Konta, 28, is 11th in the WTA singles race.
